Fat Point Brewing’s production facility encompasses over 10,000 square feet of space in our brewery located just east of Downtown Punta Gorda. Our brewing facility is capable of producing 540BBLs of beer on a monthly basis – that’s the equivalent of over 175,000 12-ounce cans. Fat Point operates three brewhouses in our facility, a half-barrel (20 gallons) test system, a 3 barrel (93 gallons) low-volume system and our 15 barrel (nearly 500 gallon) fully automated production system.
After beer is brewed, it needs to ferment. We operate 2 60BBL, 5 30BBL, 10 3BBL and 4 1/2BBL fermentors along with a 60BBL, 30BBL, 3 BBL and 1/2BBL Bright tank.
Our SAMS (semi automated manual system) canning line allows a single member of the Fat Point brew crew to can our beers for distribution. The operator loads empty cans and the machine does the rest – filling and sealing up to 300 cases of fresh beer a day.
Most of the places that you can find Fat Point brews carry our products on draft. With two four-keg washing and filling stations, we package hundreds of 1/6BBL (40 1-pint servings) and 1/2BBL (120 1-pint servings) kegs each and every month.
